How is a TA’s salary determined?

The mechanism to calculate a TA’s salary for the summer term is set out in Article 24: Summer Session (Section A. 1.) of the UAW/ASE collective bargaining agreement. Note that the contract defines a 50% TAship in summer as having a maximum workload of 120 hours; whereas, in the fall, winter, and spring quarters, a 50% TAship has a maximum workload of 220 hours.
