What is the primary difference between SRA and RMP?

SRA is a 4-week, 4-unit introductory research academy with STEM and Humanities related project-based research. SRA is an instructor-led research course where students will collaborate in groups, within both a laboratory and classroom based learning environment.

RMP is a 6-week, 8-unit rigorous research experience where students conduct interdisciplinary and on-going research under the guidance of a mentor. RMP is the longest Pre-College research program available at UCSB and is for serious students who want an immersive research experience.
